Check your warm access

An intro path to an investor can be 10x more effective than a cold message. When you already know what relevant investors you want to reach out to, you should check if there's an easy path to connect with them - either directly or through your existing network. If you find such paths, you’ll be able to significantly facilitate your outreach and focus on your best chances.
Here's how you can check your access to investors using Hopohopo.
First, identify the investors you already know and have a direct relationship with.
Review your qualified investor list and pick those you’ve met, worked with, or been introduced to in the past.
For each of those investors, add a new intro path in the "Introduction status section". Mark the contact you have direct access to and assign the path to yourself.
Your advisors, shareholders, and mentors can expand your reach by introducing you to their investor network. To maximize the power of the warm intros, use your qualified investor list in Hopohopo as a guidance to where you need the relevant connections.
Invite your network to your Fundraising Board in Hopohopo to access the investor list
Ask them to review the list and add potential warm intros as intro paths assigned to them.
Adding this data directly in the Hopohopo CRM will eliminate the need for manual intro coordination and will keep everyone in sync.
Similarly to your shareholders and advisors, you can find warm intros from fellow startup founders who already connected with an investor - for example, if their startup is already in the investor's portfolio.
And like that, you have mapped out the connections you have to your potential investors. Now you can combine the data you have on your warm access with the data on investor fit to prioritize your list and define the strategic steps for your outreach.
